Great question. The desktop and soon phone version can run locally. Therefore as long as users are ok with their data not being in the cloud it can be free.

Great question. In order to keep the service free we designed it to work using your own Twitter account. If we used the paid Twitter API we would need to charged for it.

We are working to get back up. Our web host terminated our account because they were not equipped to handle the amount of traffic (over 50K uniques an hour) we have been receiving.

Twitter API costs mean the only way to do this economically is to have users log in. If we charged for it we could avoid the login. That being said I understand the reluctance but promise the only use of the followers is to do the analysis.

It's intended to be neutral. There isn't censorship added after answer formulation. This in contrast to ChatGPT where OpenAI injects editorial censorship after the response is created. (This is evidenced by DAN). That being said our LLM is largely the totality internet which

That’s incorrect the Liberty Model does not require credits. Only credits are required on the edge to use ChatGPT 4 or 3.5

We did a massive update with the Liberty model about a month ago. So worth trying again if you were on the cusp of the update. Liberty is about at capability parity with ChatGPT 3.5
