This is what I’ve been talking abt for years, he’s cleans up his messes in the comics but it’s never shown in any adaptation until this and it made me smile
I like how he didn't just fly off and let the random folks clean up that huge mess for him. He clean after his mess so he gets extra points..! I hope we get to see a live action superman do something like this too.
I love when Batman and Superman are written like an old married couple, they get into pointless funny ass arguments but deep down you can tell that they really care about each other and enjoy spending time together.
If you see Phillip Bourassa's design sheets you’d realize how expressive and alive they were and how that did not translate at all into the final key animation
Michael Rosenbaum says they’re going to pitch an animated ‘SMALLVILLE’ sequel series to DC when it’s the right time.
“The whole cast would voice their characters from the show, and we have a concept of what the show is.”

I understand that comic book writers want to try different ideas out (mainly because of how long some of these stories have been running for) but making Alfred the Joker is just plain wrong.
TROUBLE IN PARADISE 🚨
A very reliable source inside WBD told me David Corenswet and James Gunn had a very big FIGHT this past week. Executives are concerned a recast is coming, and the cancellation of the film is an option. It is believed millionaire losts were made.
Police were called to an 'immersive' Willy Wonka Experience after families showed up to an 'empty warehouse'
The event reportedly charged $40 for entry, advertised with AI art, and said it would be a 'journey filled with wondrous creations and enchanting surprises at every
Anime fans need to understand tht both Marvel and DC characters have been around longer than most Shonen Jump characters & most anime characters in general. No matter how outrageous a certain anime character is believe me when I say Marvel/DC topped that decades ago
@Alchemist8565
Basically that comics are cannibalizing themselves by not taking any outside influences but instead only being influenced by work within the medium causing comics especially the big two to do the same thing over and over again
This movie really feels like a PG-13 movie trying to be an R-rated movie because if it really wanted to, they would’ve showed them doing it while gouging out each other’s eyes that’s how I would’ve gone about it
Another brilliant example of how "race swapping" is not inherently bad is Nick Fury. Not a single soul gave a shit about that character until Samuel L. Jackson brought life into it
It needs to be said that the reason why most Americans see Dragon Ball as nothing but dumb action w/o substance or a show with “poor writing” is because of Funimation
I genuinely don’t like how you mfs turned sincere and emotionally charged comic book panels abt pain and suicide into a competition, I fucking hate this app
@ThatJerkLuke
It’s a story recounting various ways Batman died but each are different interpretations of his death in different ages of comics and a representation of all artist and writers who’ve worked on Batman.This particular panel is detailing how Alfred was responsible for Batman’s death
Superman fans have too much attachment to the classic suit. Remember, Superman exists to break the status quo, it’s okay to change things up a bit from time to time!
At this point you need to hard ass reboot the ASM title ik that will piss some Spider-Man fans off but there’s literally no way to walk this back anymore
anti-black police brutality //
are we ready to have a serious conversation wrt the GCPD & the final boss of white liberalism copaganda (jim gordon). a black kid (a CHILD) gets brutally assaulted and he does nothing but it's Fine it's "for future reference" he's the Good Cop here
Ppl have said it so I’m just reiterating it but it’s a good thing that James actively supports comic book creators and encouraging people to read comics for there own merit rather than for it being adapted, unlike Marvel Studios
There is genuinely something so special about Batman and Superman‘s friendship, it’s the joining of two total different worlds they are quite literally the world‘s finest if you think about it, I think we’re all really sick of them fighting each other and hitting each other
We’ve talked abt the Batman 2004 so much but can we please apply the same appreciation of this kids cartoon here aswell? It’s so underrated that’s not even on Max and it’s sometimes does genuinely hard to find. The fact it only got 2 seasons is criminal
I wish GwenPool fans would stop pretending that Gwenpool originally wasn’t a Gwen and Stacey variant and that people aren’t stupid for thinking that she is. Because what type of superhero name is GwenPool for God sake.
In 1988, DC had 54 artists draw this mural for their NY offices. It’s gone now but I’m glad I saw it in person. The late Ramona Fradon on Metamorpho. Kirby on Darkseid. Swan on Superman. Pérez, Kane, Steranko, Adams, Starlin, Aparo, Sienkiewicz, Chaykin, Gibbons, many more!
@EmeraldBaz
He doesn’t like ppl saying that abt his art, I think because years ago people were complaining about how his wonder woman looked like a man
People will keep saying, Hulk Spider-Man & Wolverine are the real Trinity, but Marvel does not have a Trinity. The reason why DC does is because not only where these DC comics first superheroes but they are quite literally the big three of comics in general
I think we need to collectively let go of the DCAU influence in order for progress because it truly is time to let new voices tell Batman stories instead of Bruce Timm
Bruce Timm describes ‘BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER’ as like ‘Batman: Week 2’ in 1940s Gotham.
“Batman is so early in his career that in the first episode, he’s still an urban myth”

Superman (Life Story)
I love Superman, he’s been that one constant good in my life. The good hearted, wise, dorky, down to earth, outsider farm boy who I’ve always related/ connected too, & the gentle, benevolent, Arbiter of goodness who in my darkest hours never lets me down.
We love you Kevin and you single-handedly defined multiple generation & will be sorely missed, you are without a shadow of a doubt the Batman. RIP Kevin Conroy
You only read it that way but the plot nor the filmakers never explicitly say they died and in the tv version they end up being arrested by the Arctic police
No Henry Cavill hate but I think he's going to learn the hard way that living in the past is not the fantastic idea he think it is. Just like the rock did.
These aren’t the only examples, but I like how you said “evil Superman isn’t everywhere” when all of these in some shape or form are variations on the aforementioned trope😕
