A perfectly reasonable wishlist for visionOS 3.0 and If it's not too much to ask I'd like it to gain the ability to open Windowed and volumetric apps (shared space) inside immersive (full space) apps, similar to how multitasking works on the Quest.
I’m expecting a lot from Apple at WWDC this year for Vision Pro. Feel they’ve been working hard to improve Vision OS and v3 should be big. Need to see the native Apple apps announced and PS controller compatibility. A free version of Unity for Apple devs would be great as well.

And this wasted space....just why? Having your Avatar take up so much valuable real estate serves absolutely no purpose. Just give us a separate Quest management app like the Meta View app for Rayban glasses, it's so much more elegant, straightforward and without all the bloat
I spy... The landing page for Meta's devices. Can't see a single purchasable game anywhere. Then, there's Steam and PlayStation... Meta, we need to feed our VR developers!!! 🍖

What happened to this?
I remember how Zuckerberg teased the graphics update on Horizon Worlds a year ago. Perhaps we will see it coming to fruition on Quest 3 and other future headsets? I look forward to it.

A "Metaverse" blessed by valve
Garry Newman confirmed that Valve has agreed to let people export game modes from S&Box (spiritual successor to Garry's Mod) as separate games and release them on Steam. They are also planning to allow people to monetize their game modes within S&Box, unlike G-Mod.

@xrdevrob I'm talking about the system level hand occlusion, the Quest still uses ghost hands throughout the OS by default and almost no 1st or 3rd party app uses hand occlusion.

Something that plays in theaters for a token release of four fucking weeks? ... and by the second week you can watch it on [your] TV ... I didn't get into all of this for diminishing returns ... @xrworkoutlabs @Hero_Kvatch I kinda agree! It's gonna be hard to sell today's technology when you keep teasig future technology as something that could come any moment now. Market pressure has forced Meta's hands to reveal Orion too soon and I'm not sure if it'd be worth it in the long run.

@Hero_Kvatch The difference is that Google made it super easy for devs to port their VR games and apps from other platforms like the Quset to Android XR ....and with controller support on day one.
