There is an ex-pro footballer making idiotic statements on here in a very transparent attempt to push his budget-Rogan podcast and remain relevant when he has nothing to offer. Don't give him any publicity, don't use his name, don't listen to his podcast and he'll fade away
Just FIVE months ago, Klopp told Mason to "worry about other things" after Jota stayed on the pitch despite committing one of the most blatant red card offences.
Today, he is calling for a game to be RE-PLAYED because of one slight injustice! Take your own advice…
So pleased for him. He was a part of the best Spurs team I've seen in my lifetime. Classy bloke and the dressing room glue. I'd expect him to be a brilliant manager if he wants to give it a go. He'll be speaking German in a few weeks. A man of real substance. Good luck!

Worth a shoutout to
@AlasdairGold
. As someone who works in the industry, it shouldn't be underestimated how difficult it is to turn out quantity and quality day after day. Spurs fans are very lucky to have him on our beat.
Can't say I'm too comfortable with the glee being shown because Eriksen lost this final. He was a wonderful player for Spurs for 7 years. Lost it towards the end but I only wish him well.
Pochettino is a brilliant manager. Also, Spurs made the right decision to fire him when they did. Their form was horrific. The mistake they made was not investing in the squad when he said it needed an overhaul, after that the rest was inevitable.
Unless I've missed something, 5 of the 6 owners/CEOs of the clubs joining the ESL have now apologised for the misjudgement. Naturally, Spurs/ENIC/Levy haven't. In your own time.
Adama didn't want RWB, Conte didn't want him as a winger. Makes sense to knock it on the head. Why it took this long to work it out is beyond me. I'm not fussed about not getting him, just more worried about the peculiar process.
.
@SpursOfficial
can you donate my remaining season ticket money to people who rely on working at the stadium for their income? No matches mean they won't be able to pay rent etc.
"And look where he was, in the 6 yard box" yeah, but he was also on the left wing 30 seconds before, pinging a 60 yard cross-field pass. Have these people ever watched Harry Kane?
This Spurs not signing a striker thing is so funny. Honestly, repeating the same mistake each season, and each season Kane gets injured. Partly because of overwork. It used to be annoying but now it's like a tragic-comedy. The end being Lucas playing CF and me weeping.
Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but Scott Parker should be nowhere near the Spurs job. He will be a good manager, but IMO he should be doing better with this Fulham squad.
You know when you are offered an all expenses paid trip to watch England in the
#WorldCup
semi-final but you can't go because you've promised your daughter you would go to her final primary school play before 'big school'? Yeah that.
I'd like Harry Winks to spend time watching João Moutinho. You don't need to be big and physical to play defensive midfield. It's about positioning without the ball, intercepting and reading the game and using the ball positively but safely.
Chelsea's midfield choice is Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Barkley, Fabregas and Loftus-Cheek. That's assuming Drinkwater and Bakayoko leave. Very impressive.
Antonio Conte spends so much time trying to make a point about needing transfer funds, he forgets that Chelsea draw with Brighton, Wolves and Everton in their last 7 games. He'll say afterwards Spurs don't have the squad to compete in a one-off game. Not true IMO.
We are looking for an Arsenal correspondent for

. You'll have to travel around the country watching Arsenal. Imagine that. If you think you have what it takes, apply here
Nice email from Spurs offering my 10-year-old son the chance to win a place in the Heineken Rooftop Bar for the Villa game. His age is registered with the club. It's very Spurs at the moment.
The fact that ENIC tried to move Spurs to Stratford has been forgotten by most (myself included), pushed to the back of our minds because of the delivery of an amazing news stadium. But it's looking more and more like a precursor of what was to come. 1/-
Twitter is a toxic swamp sometimes and this thread is a prime example. An 18 year old kid who did okay being given terrible grief by people without the bottle to use their own name or face.
The fans are more behind Levy over his stance on Kane than they ever have been IMO. Charlie Kane seeding this stuff to the Telegraph won't change that.
"Daniel Levy is as sensitive to criticism as any other, especially the fans. Most of all he will be wondering whether keeping Harry Kane at all costs will be one decision that comes back to haunt him." |

Chris Powell knows people. He knows nothing he can say will make Saka feel any better, but also knows he needs support. The little glances, just to check he's okay. Class act.
Not sure how this become okay. Winks is a decent player in a possession system. He's not amazing but he's fine. Also, Kane was 'one of our own' despite no actual evidence. Winks was a ST holder with his family as a kid. We can't demand loyalty and not give it.
Champions League semi-final. Spurs. I feel like this is a bit too much for me to process. Those 35 years of watching Iversen, Dozzell and co and you do it in the vain hope this might happen but never really think it will. But it is. 🤯
The standard of refereeing in this country is scandalously low. VAR just gives another very poor ref the chance to make a bad decision. Paul Tierney is very much the worst of a very bad bunch. You'd get more right decisions from a random decision generator.
Kane believes Spurs should accept the £125m? And? I think I can sell the broken bed from the spare room on eBay for £400 but that isn't happening either. Very odd.
The only thing worth taking from this Kane story is that Sky need transfer rumours this summer. Otherwise people are just watching the Euros elsewhere. Also Sky Bet anyone?
It’s a constant source of amazement to me that a man as brilliant as Mauricio Pochettino can’t see that Kyle Walker-Peters needs to be given a run ahead of Serge Aurier
On holiday and just catching up on the Kane stuff. He has zero leverage. He's got 3 years left on his contract. Either City pay what Spurs want for him or he stays. Until then, he turns up to training or fine him.
Dele is such an articulate, intelligent person. He cares deeply about Spurs and is clearly unhappy with his form, but is working his arse off to try and get back to where he was. He regularly runs more than any other Spurs players and is still labelled as lazy. Why?
Fun Boxing Day. Kane is incredible, obviously. Truly privileged to be able to watch him every week. Dele back on form, Son flying and Rose and Aurier finding form. Also Dier is twice as good in midfield as at the back. Jan was also great incidentally

The Venn diagram of people wanting Daniel Levy to 'splash the cash', versus those laughing at United for doing exactly that on Harry Maguire is basically a total eclipse.
Went for my daily run and happened across Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez, Ryan Sessegnon and Serge Aurier (I think) on their daily constitutional. Social distancing was respected. Also saw Poch-era GK coach Toni Jimenez. Busy day.

I would never criticise Mauricio Pochettino, he's amazing and Spurs are lucky to have him. However his treatment of Kyle Walker-Peters has been very perplexing. Why keep him but not let him play at all? U23s? Nope. Carabao cup? Nope. Just play him or loan him. Such a waste.
🚨While Ndombele has been following a planned dietary programme while at the club's training ground, he was found to be eating junk food at home including ordering a burger at a hotel.
Ndombele was told that he would not play for the team until he dropped his body weight down to
Amazing new stadium, training ground, best manager in living memory, best centre-forward in the world. Moan about one extra game at Wembley. These things happen, relax. We've never had it so good.
Harry Kane distancing himself from the teams he's part of is annoying. It's not like Spurs haven't played in Semis and finals while he's been at the clubs. He's not exactly set the world on fire in them. He's as responsible as most others.

So proud of Spurs fans uniting against racism, misogyny and homophobia. We do have a voice. We don't have a manager or a functioning club, but I'll take the positives!

This is liquid tennis. Also Amazon are playing a blinder putting this on C4. The exposure for Prime Video having these rights will go through the roof. Then more people will have to deal with their shocking UI.
For what it's worth, I wish him nothing but success. He's a lovely, kind man who makes his players feel wanted and valued. The last season at White Hart Lane was the best Spurs team I've seen in my lifetime. I'll never forget it.
There is an assumption that they left out all Mourinho's tactical stuff from All or Nothing. Maybe there wasn't anything. All he wants is desire, passion, running and intensity. Spurs are without Lo Celso and Ndombele, but the football doesn't seem any better.
Tomorrow will be my last day at

I've not experienced racism at football for about 15 years. But today at
@SpursOfficial
was hideous. Reported to stewards, confronted him myself and was called a c*nt. While I was standing next to my son. Hideous.
I've seen that game many times at Spurs. Harry Kane doesnt gey lucky, he's done it week after week, season after season. Wonderful player and a consumate professional.
If you remove football club and insert any other business, the premise is mad. Having a sustainable business which is not propped up by external funding is normally good. But in football, it's seen as a weakness. Odd.
Of all the financial analysis, reports, etc. one in particular stuck out;
Amount these club’s owners put in between 2010-2020;
Manchester City £837m
Chelsea £559m
Aston Villa £434m
Everton £348m
Brighton 319m
Leicester City £310m
Tottenham Hotspur’s owners put in…🥁.... £0.
It's easy, especially on here, to think the world is a depressing place full of people making life worse for those around them. When you think that, and you will, just remember Gary Mabbutt is here. He's the best of us and while he's about, it's going to be fine.
Throughout the pandemic, Gary Mabbutt has been calling fans to help raise their spirits.
🤍 After making his 3000th call, we surprised Gary with messages from some of the people he has helped in the last year.
Thank you so much, Gary! 🙌
My daily run took me past Toby Alderweireld running in the opposite direction. Headline news,

Shout out to my son who had a music entrance exam for a school today. The place was full of classically trained pianists, cellists and even a harp player. He rolled up, told them

was his favourite musician, smashed out the drums from 'Out of The Black' and left.

Today is my last day at
@goal
. It's been two amazing years, it was a dream to run the world biggest and best digital football destination and I'm so proud of the work the team did during those two years.
Having finished off All or Nothing I have taken away two main things. Firstly this whole 'you need to be c*nts to win' stuff only really applies if you can't get over the line in finals, not playing Everton at home. If you can't win standard PL matches, it doesn't matter.
Eriksen will go, and with my best wishes. Helps it's to a club I have an affinity for, but he been the heart beat of the best Spurs side my lifetime. No hard feelings and good luck.
At Heathrow. Flight in an hour. 30 years of going to White Hart Lane with my old man and wondering when the mediocrity would stop, just for a while. And would my Dad be alive to see it? Well this is it, and he is. And my Son as well. Mind blown.

This app, and most other social media platforms don't care about sentiment, they just see a lot of sharing and push that content more. Don't fall for it.
Liam Rosenior on the Sky coverage of the England U21 game is a breath of fresh air. He really needs to be given more opportunities. He's clear, concise, does his research and gets it across with clarity. Very impressive.
Thanks for all the support. Given how lonely you feel when it is happening it's been most welcome. Spurs have been in touch and I'll work with them to find the person. Had just about enough for today so I'm signing out. Thanks again.

This would be am awful shame. I think he has a very high ceiling and a couple of awful mistakes have clouded perception of him. Right move for the player if his manager isn't a fan.
The agent of Juan Foyth has told talkSPORT that his client will likely move on this summer.
"We still have a pending talk with Tottenham to clarify the future. We don’t judge the coach’s decisions and we don’t get involved in his job
Pep on Kane: "He is a Tottenham player. If Tottenham don’t want to negotiate it is finished. If they want to negotiate, many clubs would like to sign him, we are not an exception. We are very interested in him."
I'd like someone to explicitly ask Pochettino what the reason behind ostracising Walker-Peters is. If he doesnt think he's good enough, fine. But Aurier is so dreadful and gets picked, that it doesn't really work as a reason.
The club has shown during this period that they either have a woeful grasp of corporate PR, or they just don't care. They reside in one of the most economically challenged areas in the country and choose to take taxpayers money rather than pay staff themselves. 2/-
