So, what does this mean on a national level?
Well, since Alaska has a very small population it only has one representative, so it doesn't make much of a difference for day to day matters in the House, it's just a nice novelty.
But in the future, there's much to be gained.

if i had to give my honest bet at the next uk election, itll be a significantly reduced labour majority and reform will be a much bigger player seat-wise, i think by then they and the tories will still more or less be running against eachother and will split votes a lot
