Don't think there's enough national attention around how good Sidney Crosby has been this season. He's on an almost 50-goal pace and has the most 5v5 points in the league. As far as I'm concerned, he's one of, if not the top favorite for the Hart right now.

Jake Guentzel was a star as soon as he came up to the league. You could tell right away that he was better than any of the WBS guys who had come before him. He had one of the most magical runs I’ve ever seen in 2017 and got even better after that. Best winger Crosby’s ever had.

Dale, every single player in the top 6 has over 20 goals. Evgeni Malkin was a point per game player. Sidney Crosby was still a wizard. Kris Letang is still playing well. The GM failed to surround them with adequate depth.
I'm sure the GM will get all the blame for this, but it's just more of the same from this group of players all season. They haven't been good enough all year -- including the stars for stretches of time.
