@eihtbeezy Black people can't solve racism alone; it requires buy-in from white people which doesn't seem to be forthcoming. This is why I'm starting to believe racism for all practical purposes is permanent. The only thing Black people can do is separate and try and ameliorate its effects.

@sandylocks @EBONY Right now, you and everybody else can celebrate how much of a "humanitarian" you are. But future generations will make it known that you watched a genocide and said nothing. And that you watched the college you work for crush genocide protestors and you said nothing.

When Black Male Studies scholars tell you that self-proclaimed "Black feminists" are actually just anti-Black misandrists and prove that gender is a technology of anti-Blackness y'all think we crazy.
I’m actually wishing Simone Biles the worst and all BW who desire cishetero patriarchal indemnity because they ultimately only learn the hard way how that very ambition will betray them.

@JoshyBeSloshy @NoCapFights Not true. You go from conscious to unconscious instantly. And you don't remember coming back to consciousness; it feels like you're instantly awake again. I once woke up and asked the nurse when the procedure was starting. She said it happened already, and I didn't believe her.

This is a perfect example of why Black people shouldn't trust white people, especially white philosophers. What they take to be philosophical abstractions are actually practical, life and death, problems for some people.
You must go back in time: would you prefer to live the life of a slave owner, or the life of a slave?.

@PurpleReign9404 Anti-Black misandry is so engrained y'all can't even pretend to believe the ideologies y'all purportedly espouse. The whole point of intersectionality is that identities can't be disaggregated. Imagining Black men as white men literally defeats the purpose of intersectionality.

@The_Acumen This is actually false. Sociological evidence shows that people can definitely tell the difference between African-Americans and Black people of other ethnicities/nationalities.

@The_Acumen 1/ This is ridiculous. Even if it were true that you couldn't separate Black men from misogyny and patriarchy, which is empirically false because Black men are the targets of patriarchy, that wouldn't be comparable to white women's support for white supremacy.

@haintological @CherchLaGhost A whole thread of Black women talking abut how good the white man been to them.
White men don’t see Black women as competition but also. outside of other Black women. White men are more likely to recommend Black women for promotions n shit cus they know how hard we be working. White women see us as the help n once we step outside of that boundary. whewwww.

@AnthonyGSupreme I'm not even sure femicide exists as a global social phenomenon. ~500,000 people a year are murdered globally but ~80% of them are men. If misogyny was as pervasive as feminists claim then how can we explain the incongruence b/n femicide as a theory and the empirical evidence?.

@The_Acumen There's a difference between transactional and reciprocal. Black people are continually exploited by being mobilized for other people's causes without reciprocity. What solidarity oftentimes looks like in practice for Black people is exploitation.

As a child this woman was repeatedly raped and sex trafficked by a man known to police. She killed him in self-defense. Her lawyers got her a plea deal for a decade+ in prison in what should've been an un-loseable case. Every day a public defender is fucking over a Black person.
Chrystul Kizer, the woman who killed her alleged sex trafficker when she was a teen, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.

It's worse than this. The idea that Black men want to be white men is a deeply anti-Black misandrist caricature. Year after year, Black men are ethically and politically demonized based on caricatures, and no one bats an eye even though this is empirically and historically a lie.
People constantly say this about black men. The idea that black men “want to be white men” is an idea that’s a least a century old. Then they roll this talking point out every year about voting despite all evidence indicating otherwise.

Why do people say dumb shit like this? This is an empirically false over-generalization. More than half of white women voted for Trump in 2020. And stop using generalizations when it's clear that the only women you could be talking about are white women.
I think the right has been underestimating how totally alienating female voters, in addition to being politically awful by itself, can also have spillover effects with men who. You know. Actually interact with women.
