I’m old enough to remember when the NHL was more that an happy to accept the positive press that came from touting its first openly gay prospect.
The NHL is run by a cowardly pukes and it won’t get better until a bunch of Old Hockey Men die off.
Luke Prokop received an outpouring of support from the NHL, players, teams and the hockey community after the Predators prospect became the first player under a League contract to come out as gay.
