#SciFiDaily Based on Walter Molino's other work, I'd guess this was for a men's adventure magazine rather than sci-fi. It reminds me of the sci-fi trope of a lone man who battles alien scouts and saves the earth by wit and grit. Then he quietly returns to his everyday life.

The Princess Scout is a standalone novel in my Scout series. You need not read the rest of the series to enjoy it. Reviewers say it has the same "feel" of a Star Trek original series time-travel episode, which is something I aimed for when writing it.
