We get so hung up on being right, or afraid of being wrong, that being right becomes a log in our eyes that prevents us from seeing truth. It's only by surrendering, allowing the weeds to grow with the wheat, that we gain true #wisdom.
The Belt of Truth, the 1st piece of the armor of God, holds the breastplate of righteousness, the 2nd piece, together with the sword, the 6th and last piece. The strappings of Peace, in at #3, are still before the sword, which is worthless without the pieces before it. #Paradox

@musings_blonde Well, if you want to know, you could look up the words on the Urban Dictionary... Or you could delete the picture/post and pretend you never saw it🤪

@Chad4328 @DiscoverJesus3 What makes righteous is when we consider all of God's laws together with all of the freedom of living in Christ. Has Christ set us free? Or are we still bound to law that provides a whitewashed tomb devoid of power over the flesh? Col 2:20-23.

@jovial_cynic It's interesting how God wants us to spread out, and he also grounds us firmly so we will not be blown away in the wind.

@jovial_cynic What is interesting is the emergent paradox. Looking at the first perspective, you would not think that Isaiah would be cut off... The question is "What was he cut off of?" The World's system; he could no longer bear fruit to the flesh. And so he is Grafted into Jesus.

@jovial_cynic Mmmmm. Yes. So the symbol of circumcision is the outward manifestation of being cut off for God. Like Isaiah in the throne room—where the words "amidst a people" holds the connotation of being cut off and left out in the middle. First, cut off. Then, grafted in.

RT @jovial_cynic: What I'm describing here is not a "heaven vs. hell" scenario. Rather, I'm describing a life where God is either perceived…

@jovial_cynic I'm fascinated by the Hebrew compound preposition El that denotes movement and direction. Maintaining the same spelling as the name of God El. Almost as if movement is divine. Which reminds of Jesus being The Way we should Go. Maybe the ancients wondered why anything moved.

@Whitehorse1255 @jovial_cynic And yet the blood is life: so water into blood/life could be God transforming us to make us alive again. Water is symbolic for grief/tears. This is a promise of new life for those suffering.

@ferrismattic Not good will; free at gleaners. Not unlike finding it at a free shelf at a library 🤔
