Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Utah Jazz and Utah State fan. I'll follow anyone who DMs me a good book suggestion. Go Aggies!
The Mountain West is like a family. We can all pick on each other, but if someone else picks on the MW we fight back.
We just got punched hard; you better believe we'll be punching back

@r_StarWars
Reva was written as a main character when she wasn't. Also, it felt like her entire character was just, "I want to kill Kenobi so I can kill Vader"
If you thought yesterday's slate of Mountain West games was good, buckle up for this weekend. We've got
SDSU @ Nevada
Boise St @ Utah St
UNLV @ New Mexico
SJSU @ Colorado St
Fresno St @ AF
4/5 games on FS1 or CBSSN and all have tip times separated by at least an hour and a half
This has to be the peak so far of Utah State athletics as a whole, right?
Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Tennis all won either the MW regular season or tourney (I might be missing some too)
@TanMart03
Funny thing is this Utah St team is 100% different t than any that's come before. Not a single player or coach besides deep bench guys returned. So punishing this team for past teams is absurd.
My favorite to least favorite Mountain West schools
1. Utah St
Enormous Gap
2. UNLV
3. SDSU
4. SJSU
5. Nevada
6. Colorado St
7. Fresno St
8. Air Force
9. Wyoming
10. New Mexico
11. Boise St
Wouldn't say I hate any of them, but I definitely dislike some more than others
Teams from Utah that will not make the NCAA tournament:
Mens:
BYU
Utah
Utah Tech
Weber St
Womens:
BYU
Utah St
Utah Tech
UVU
Weber St
SUU is the only school with both teams still in the running for a bid.

My father loves me, and I consider that one of the greatest gifts I have been given. I intend to give the same to my children if I have any. I don't care if my wife is "manipulative" or if it leads to pain. Children deserve to be loved.
My math may be wrong, but if New Mexico loses tomorrow:
Utah St and Boise St are guaranteed a first round bye
New Mexico is eliminated from title contention
UNLV guarantees a 1st round bye with a win vs San Jose St
A lot of the anonymous USU accounts are talking about how their interest in USU is fading now and how they don't know if their fandom will last. Seems pretty miserable to me.
Danny Sprinkle is the definition of a great leader. When we played well and were on top of the world, he didn't take a drop of credit. Now that we're having problems, he shifts 95% of the blame to himself. So much respect for this man.
Utah State has talked all season about responding to adversity. Now, staring down a huge matchup on Saturday after a brutal showing against Nevada, the Aggies have to find an answer. Cover Story:

I make a gut reaction bracket, since my dad thinks I overanalyze and I like to prove him wrong with how bad it is. Then I make a bracket for my family pool. Whenever I reference my bracket, I'm talking about that one.
Fellow Mountain West fans, do you get tired hearing the line "There might not be a better story in basketball than Utah State" whenever the MW standings come up in a broadcast?
How would you rank the MW coaches? It's hard (I'll definitely change my mind later) but I would say:
1. Dutcher
2. Sprinkle
3. Medved
4. Rice
5. Miles
6. Alford
7. Pitino
8. Linder
9. Scott
10. Kruger
11. Hutson
BREAKING:
In an unprecedented move, Utah Basketball has announced they are parting ways with Craig Smith while simultaneously hiring Jerrod Calhoun from Utah St. In a statement AD Mark Harlan said "Utah St is a better program than we are. If they want Calhoun, we want him too"
The Mountain West has some pretty clutch big men from the charity stripe
Their numbers in the clutch:
Great Osobor - (10/10) 100%
Jaedon LeDee - (11/12) 92%
O'Mar Stanley - (15/18) 83%
Both The Spectrum and The Pit are Top 20 venues in the country, but I thought The Spectrum was a little better.
Students comprise about 40 percent of all fans and are basically on the court. It’s smaller, louder and the students are organized.
So let me get this straight.
A UNLV account is spreading rumors that Sprinkle is heading to Washington, and everyone is just going with it?
I don't buy it
My hot take is that Utah St will finish top 3 in the conference next season. I think the conference as a whole will see a lot of attrition, and we'll be able to handle it better than others because of recent experience.
Wyoming transfer Brendan Wenzel has received interest from the following programs, he tells TPR:
SMU
TCU
Houston
Texas Tech
Texas A&M
UTEP
Clemson
Virgina Tech
St Mary’s
Minnesota
Penn State
Boston College
UAB
Longwood
McNeese State
VCU
New Mexico
UNLV
Utah State
LMU
This feels like a pivotal moment for the Mountain West. We need to succeed, or it will hurt us down the road. It starts tonight. Go get a win Colorado St.
My thoughts on Utah State's NET rankings:
1. We have more Q1 games remaining (7) than any other quadrant (5 each)
2. SFA is 101. If they get to 100 than they become a Q2 matchup
3. There are only 3! Q4 matchups in the MW slate. That's huge
4. Boise needs to improve
