@JustinBaco21003 CBB also considers where teams end up when evaluating wins/losses, the opposite of football’s process. Both have pros & cons. I don’t love Duke right now, and while the wins are atleast a bit better for UT, the metrics also play a role in seeding.

@JustinBaco21003 The top end of those wins are better. Then there’s the metrics to look at, and then there’s also Q2 to look at, which Duke has an advantage in. It’s not a stretch to put UT over Duke, but I personally don’t think the committee would right now.

@D1866429D I try my hardest to keep up with injuries. I knew you all had been banged up 😂 If they’re out for the year, I don’t give leniency because it doesn’t change anything, but once the player is back, I try to give some credit🫡

@D1866429D Yeah. The home loss kind of thing, especially while injured happens, but you’re right, it’ll work out! Appreciate it🫡

@JustinBaco21003 Duke also has 3 good Q1 wins in conference play. Tennessee has the higher # of Q1 wins, but right now, Dukes wins are slightly better, plus their predictives are better, which play into seeding teams a good bit.

@D1866429D Iowa St’s resume is slightly better. The margins are thin. Probably should have swapped them because of the H2H.. my B!

@JustinBaco21003 So, it’s very close. I went with Duke over UT, mainly on predictive metrics. The wins are pretty much the same when you dive deep into the team sheets. Duke’s OOC schedule is what is boosting them, not the ACC.
