I have several tiers of water preparedness:
1. 150 liters of RO purified water in storage tanks.
2. Mechanical water filtration system.
3. Sawyer portable filters along with Nalgene adapters and bags.

Terrible news for Western NC but things to learn for your own emergency preparedness. Water storage of a significant volume is a big hurdle for most people and being without water in a home or without power in a boil water advisory is serious.
