Just to clarify: the prize money ($100,000 through $10,000) is PER Slam and there are four slams PER year!
a top athlete has the potential to win $400k each year!
Grand Slam Track consists of 4 events to earn their rank in the final pool.
I know this kind of breakdown comparison isn't the point (I believe the 4 challengers aren't swapped out meet by meet) but here's how it breaks down in comparison.
