This is exactly like Public Health's approach to Covid. They want you to "feel safe" rather than have you "be" safe. So they paint over the harsh realities of Covid and Long Covid and all you see is this "beautiful" "green" grass. But underneath, it's dry and dead.

Covid conscious people aren't advocating for lockdowns, we want to make it safer for at risk people to be participate in society. For everyone. And with masks provided and required you can do so many things that you did pre pandemic. People are called out for not even trying.

When I tell you I'm not travelling, this is in great part why. Selfish people are travelling while sick, not even bothering to test beforehand or wear a mask to protect others. The ignorant and selfish are just spreading more Covid around.
So, looking for more on the current Covid surge in Japan I stumbled upon a video (shortened for tweet). This is so sad. But, it’s our Govts we should be angry w/ for delivering us to a place where putting each other at risk of potentially life changing illnesses is common place.

Game Awards don't mean much to me when a studio can still win prizes after firing the team that got them the nominations. Or studios that are incredibly toxic and chew people and then spit them out . This award show, just like the industry, needs to evolve and get with the times.
