And they also had another crazy idea that, in order for you to make money as a capitalist, you need to produce and sell an actual product in a competitive market.
They don’t make “money” in China. They make stuff, the thing you need money for. In Econ 101 a perfectly competitive market is not supposed to be profitable either. That’s what supposedly makes markets “optimal”.
