There is quite literally zero strong evidence that supports raw milk consumption as beneficial. If you want probiotics then have yogurt, kefir, or fermented veggies like kimchi. What there is strong evidence for is the 20-30% mortality of unborn babies from listeriosis.

This is something you'll see more and more of. Keto and carnivore people adding carbs back in. I was low-carb for over a decade when I started in 1999. While it's still a solid choice, it's 100% unnecessary. And many of the followers aren't emotionally healthy.

CARBOHYDRATES ARE NOT GOOD FOR PERFORMANCE. - Sugar requires an entire chemical change to enter cells - Sugar inflames vessels/organs/tissues - Ketones readily enter cells - Ketones produce more ATP - Ketones cause zero inflammation Ketones/gluconeogenesis is the way to go.

An 8 oz cup of black coffee contains from 0.5-2 grams of carbohydrates. If you drink 3 12 oz coffees each morning then that's up to 9 grams of carbs... For some people this is going to elevate blood glucose levels too much.

You should avoid eating blueberries at all cost. They are poison. Although they are loaded with antioxidants they are also high in thiaminases and can make it hard for you to absorb thiamin, placing you at risk of thiamin deficiency. Am I fear mongering correctly?

CHICKEN LIVER PATE: 1.4 lbs livers, 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 3 bay leaves, parsley (didn't have thyme) & salt. Cooked in 1.5 cups H2O for a few minutes. Removed bay & poured into blender, leaving liquid behind. Blended in 4 sticks of butter 2 T at a time. Super Healthy & Delish!

My RD peeps with appreciate this. I saw a patient with a thiamin deficiency yesterday. That’s like finding a unicorn. He was a stable patient. Not a liver failure or anything. Foot drop, calf tenderness, elevated lactic, low serum thiamin, encephalopathy, no hx of etOH.

Waiting for my father in law to get out of back surgery. What does a TSICU RDN buy for post-op recovery. Protein baby! 1.2-1.7gm/kg based on what the surgeon told. Lots of easy to drink ONS. High protein breakfast items that are convenient. And some high protein snacks.

Gonna die from toxic plants any day now. 40gm of protein. The “grain” is red quinoa, cilantro, scallions, flat leaf parsley, drizzle of olive oil and sea salt. The salad is blueberries, napa cabbage, sunflower seeds, cashews, dried cranberries, kale, tomato, red onion.

Reloaded for the week. Studies that find adverse hepatic effects or weight gain effects from fructose did so in animals that were fed 50% of total intake from solely fructose. Far beyond any normal physiological intake in humans. Long story short. EAT YOUR FRUIT.
