This time last year the most unimaginable thing happened- my John got very sick. We still don’t know why - but what we do know is the AMAZING treatment and care John received from the Dr’s & especially the nurses whilst in hospital. NHS & HSCT Nurses deserve better!!!

A lot of ppl are asking about baby (toddler) John!!! He’s a superhero& has bounced back so well. He can’t sleep because he’s ‘sore’ so gets to sneak in mummy&daddy’s bed with foxy& blanky too. Your kindness, words and support got us through our hardest parenting days to date! 🙏

We had 30 volunteers including the sure start family. This is true Christmas spirit and I’m so grateful to everyone who made it happen.🎄

Insta Vs reality. We love our two boys but poor Finlay’s stomach issues now mean for 7 weeks we are taking shifts and sleeping downstairs.
His inconsolable cries and constant need to be held is torturous. To top it off we all have a back to school bug. It’s tough!.

I sobbed inconsolably, but made sure I watched this traumatic abuse of people with pmld. It made me sick! Whilst my heart goes out to Ukrainians we cannot forget this vile draconian torturous treatment. No state should be able to pick &choose human rights!

I’m not religious but i have faith in a higher purpose. Today Finlay got a sign from his great grannie rae as his nurse is from the same tiny village in the highlands- you’d be lucky if theirs 1,000 ppl. Not going to lie I’m struggling a little but he’s definitely out the worst.

On Friday, my two worlds collided for the best reason. John’s schools Y7’s raised a phenomenal £700 for Barnardo’s NI and I had the privilege of telling them what I do and how grateful we are for the donation! The cherry on top was John got to listen too. Proud beyond belief!

Firstly I am fine and baby’s fine but a small impromptu visit to Hospital proves just how amazing our

is. Seen by two midwives, general observations, mine and babies heartbeat monitored and full baby scan by Dr-all completed in 2 hrs on a sat night. Thank you

I’m sitting doing my uni work in Newton Coffee House, I’m just in love with the community ethos the owner has. He knew most of his customers by name and was genuinely interested in their conversations. You can see why this shop is a pillar of the four winds community!
