Pads R cumbersome, they shift, they leak. I got my period at 10 y/o +was mortified to have to wear pads. It was humiliating+embarrassing. My parents wouldn’t let me use tampons. My next door neighbor was a nurse. I thank goodness she spoke 2 my mom. It’s not sex; it’s hygiene.
