BMI + body fat % gives you a pretty well-rounded idea of one's weight as it correlates to their health. the only reason why anyone would say bmi is "bullshit" is because it doesn't account for what weight is body fat and what weight is muscle.

I agree with this idea, but I think it's good for some people to have this terminology in their life because maybe an affectionate, non-sexual relationship is too taboo for them but under the guise of a "bromance" it is more acceptable in their circles, so it's a good first step!

Jokes about killing yourself are only read as jokes if they're an obvious, absurd exaggeration. Like, "I can't get the lid off this jar of pickles, I'm going to fucking kill myself." If you say it about genuinely sad things it just makes people uncomfortable.
