expansionist. Ukraine must win. Cats, dogs, travel, cybersecurity, DevOps, data science, games, manga, ski, surf, kids, anime - all in a mixed order.
So Russia’s newspaper Moscow Komsomolez wrote that “Soledar was producing up to 40% of salt before the war and Russia needs that plant in Soledar. It was a strategic choice…” No mention of denazification, protection of people etc. Russia needs salt that’s all…
@LesiaLVD
My partner just came from the council meeting where local council proposed to fly Palestinian flag above the town hall. We collected a huge opposition crowd. They refused to do so for Ukraine 🇺🇦 citing that’s “it’s not our war”. We will vote her (Mayor) out!
@betelgeuse1922
I don't know how you can deal with this state-sanctioned sadism. This is just another level...How can you stay and help these people. I think you are very brave.
My lovely

in the Europe/Northern hemisphere - can you send me some pictures of snow ❄️❄️❄️in your city/town? We have to fly 20+ hours from Sydney to see it...
@JuliaDavisNews
Julia, if I ever meet you in person, I will buy you your favourite alcohol (or the most expensive drink of your choice) as the job that you do is really really tough... Thank you 🙏though!
@Wowikbest
"If we enter a village, and people are standing near the gate waving their hands and smiling, then the norm, it means that the village has stood up more or less. And if women and children run to meet us and cry, it means that the men were shot..." such realities of RU occupation

, please don’t hurt each other with snarky comments. Aim them at vatnicks instead. Remember who and what are we here for. We mustn’t give up. Love you all 💕

"Israel's refusal to provide military aid to Ukraine or even permission for other countries to do so sharply contradicts historical aid to Israel, when much of the Western world rallied behind the country when it faced invasions of its own..."

So true. I’ve seen it too many times in Aus 🇦🇺 too - in the bank, in the shops. In Tokyo a RU family was asking in Russian how to get to the station - Japanese are very polite and raising voice is a no-no in Japan. I apologised to the Japanese lady and explained. Ru are so rude!
@SarahAshtonLV
Ukrainian soldiers are well-educated and well-motivated bunch. In contract, Russia sends its convicts and “homeless shelter” recruits to fight. I heard somewhere in Twitter a phrase: “There 3 degrees for 2 Ukrainian soldiers and 3 sentences for 2 Russian ones..." - so true.
@bloombeary
I am with you that sometimes understanding Russian is a curse you would not wish to anyone... Ukraine inherited a lot of problems (as well as corruption) from USSR but unlike Russia they are trying resolving them. The best example is Ukrainian Army.
@UAArtisansRock
I always prefer buying Australian-made art and other products, but I definitely made an exception for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and bought a lot of things made by Ukrainian artists and artisans over the last 500 days.

I just came from New Zealand, 1000s of km from Ukraine, with almost non-existent Ukrainian diaspora. People were skiing⛷️with Ukrainian flag 🇺🇦! I stopped to chat, he was a Maori men with tribal tattoos. Not Ukrainian, but inspired by courage and resilience. Shops had 🇺🇦flags too
Somewhere in Europe. An Israeli off-screen is chanting “Palestinians are sons of bitches” (in Hebrew it sounds like “Palest`inim - bn`ei zona`a”). Little by little the idiots at the rally begin to chant this too 🤣They don't care what to yell🤩🤩🤩
@SpencerGuard
Lots of respect to Zelensky.
Can someone imagine Putler being surrounded by people with guns other than his personal guards 🤡? Or to talk without a script?

Moscow. 10 years ago. My son, 6, asked taxi driver when were driving from the airport in his broken Russian:“Kak tvoi dela? I tebia bilo mnogo rabota segodni”? Taxi driver: “A твой мальчик умственно отсталый, у него плохой русский?”😂

Google was founded on September 4, 1998, by Larry Page & Sergey Brin while they were PhD students at Stanford University in California. I sincerely doubt that Brin would call himself Russian; he is an American citizen and a Jew.

"Occupation... They lived without electricity and communication for six months. They did not know that Kyiv stood firm, the cruiser "Moscow" sank, and the whole world supported them. They were kicked out of their homes and forced to work for food. They were threatened.. 🇺🇦

If you value your mental health stay away from Russian TG channels. Every time I login I feel like I need a shower. And a sauna. And to brush my teary and to wash my hands 🙌.
@CanadianKobzar
I was actually was born in Odesa. The settlement Hochubei (Khadjibey) existed well before Russian conquest. In 1764 fortress Yeni Dünya was built at Khadjibey by Turks. Russian empire annexed the fortress and subsequently declared city of Odesa in 1794.
@VlastimilBalaty
I read that the pilot who ejected from the jet, was fighting the waves and no one helped him. There were lots of jetskis and boats, but they all were busy "enjoying summer" and being Russians. He eventually was taken to hospital and died as he drank too much sea water.
My son is having his end of year band performance. His band conductor is Year 12 student, young Ukrainian Sergiy - he arrived in early March, he is only 17. With him the band improved significantly. Im sure many other Ukrainians made a positive impact in other countries…
@DGisSERIOUS
V Yermolenko, editor in chief of Ukraine World:“The peculiar thing about Ukrainian politics is the agency comes from society, not the political leaders, Zelensky is who he is due to the Ukrainian people, who are behind him, showing courage.”. Main difference of 🇺🇦and 🇷🇺Russia!
@volodarskijo
Just want to add to your story. I'd say that

somewhat helped to change our country's (AU) public opinion towards refugees in general. The 3 families that we personally welcomed were a great example of that.

I studied with a girl in Uni and she stated once that essays are hard “because you need to show your own original thinking not the “correct” thinking like in our school. And I don’t know what is correct, isn’t it hard”. She was from China.

They mourn over dismantled imperial dream, identity and belonging to a strong Russian empire. This dream has no place in independent, free and rational Estonia 🇪🇪.
@Teoyaomiquu
Since I was born, we were told how evil the US and Americans are (USSR). When I was 7, my best classmate immigrated to US. Teachers called them traitors. Then another friend, then another family. Lol, it was Odesa in mid-1980s 😅! My class shrunk...
@monachi_i
Its so sweet. When I arrived to Japan, I found that people were very kind and went out of their way to help. Яка добра. Коли я приїхала до Японії , я побачила, що люди дуже добрі та зробили все можливе, щоб допомогти.
@petite_michelle
I have zero sympathy… Get a tutor and learn the language of the country where you live! My mother is similar though, however, she can speak and write English (she has been in 🇦🇺 over 10 years), she just prefers not to… old people!
@Cleverly_aloof
Family can change. My mom (an ultimate USSR vatnick) donated to Ukrainian charity last month. She still would not donate to ZSU but I can see a huge turnaround in her attitude (coincidently, I sneakily switched off satellite, RT and other rubbish, it took her 2-3 months to detox)
This morning I woke up to this. I guess my boyfriend watched Qatar 2023 Soccer and his team lost. The game finished 6:00am or so in 🇦🇺😂. The perpetrator is still snoring away.

This is true. It’s still go largely unchecked in regional areas. And once they lock conscripts in a large barn or other collection area, this will spread (as well as Covid as vaccination rates are low).
