Hey there!
I'm having some trouble with tvOS bundle and signing issues in AppStore Connect.
It's taking quite some time as each build and upload takes around 30 minutes. I'm hoping to get it sorted today, but if tvOS still proves to be stubborn, I'll release iOS first.

This year, we discovered from the James Web Telescope that the galaxy was much older and larger than we had expected.
Even less expected, this year Apple has allowed emulators in the app store.

I've been very busy with refactoring to Swift.
This will make all the other bug fixes and feature additions, iCloud, importer, UI, Audio, Video etc all easier to deal with.
Right now the pipeline is ObjC gles/metal view controller runs the game loop, that calls into ObjC cores,

TLDR; another couple of weeks, but tons of speedups, code cleanups, project simplifying, compilation time decreases etc

I want it to maintain the same standard as the commercial work I've released, so I opted to rewrite some legacy code—a lot of legacy code.

Major breakthrough tonight! I figured out a way to call the existing core code from the new Swift wrapper without having to hand convert large sections of the core code.
This means an expedited release schedule for 3.0.
Maybe a few weeks?

PS2 support via Play! 0.58 is coming along nicely.
Supports either GLES or Vulkan via MoltenVK via an option.
Save states and upscaling are also working.
Performance improvements and JIT support will be next on the table before release.

Provenance is a much larger app. Takes time to make it App Store quality when we never expected to have to appeal to a general audience. Bugs that were “no big deal” to nerds like us will turn off your average user.

tvOS test flight is broken on importing ROMs.
I vaguely remember this happening before I’m working on a fix. It should be out this afternoon as long as xcode doesn’t give me problems.

PS2 requires JIT to perform at all and even then it's usually sub 30fps. Maybe later in the year but don't hold your breath.

Mac Catalyst builds are working though Apple is blocking uploads from MacOS 15 for just Mac apps for some reason.
The iOS app runs well in compatibility mode, though.
