Hey there! . I'm having some trouble with tvOS bundle and signing issues in AppStore Connect. It's taking quite some time as each build and upload takes around 30 minutes. I'm hoping to get it sorted today, but if tvOS still proves to be stubborn, I'll release iOS first.

This year, we discovered from the James Web Telescope that the galaxy was much older and larger than we had expected. Even less expected, this year Apple has allowed emulators in the app store. Exciting times.

This is a new one. Tried to do a PSP iOS upload. The app Store has scheduled maintenance on the 11th, so it's likely related. Going to take a while to update xCode.

Rejected. Assumed it would. They need a demo video and I need to remove some.Menu items in swift ui that aren’t working as expected. Just trying to get something out and will work on adding back things after that.

Rejected! They said they couldn't add roms even though I already gave them open-source roms as both a zip and links with the license information stating they are public domain. They really don't want this app out!. We need to be vocal about this!

After playing Holiday Phone Tag with Apple review board, I got to speak with them briefly Friday. They said all is good except for the Patreon links in the app. I've already removed those, made some last-minute crash fixes around BIOS md5 and status UI and resubmitted for review.

FYI, this build from 2 weeks ago has "working" #3DS for the impatient and brave. I tested some homebrews; they played, touch controls, sound, layout changes, etc. YMMV though. Sideload with Altstore, SideStore or whatever else the kids use these days. This is an XL build,.

Due to all the back and forth with the review process, this build doesn't have all the most recent bug fixes. Now that it's finally out, I'll work on an immediate bug fix release, ASAP. 3DS I'm aware of some bad layout and touch-related bugs, that's first on the list.

I've been very busy with refactoring to Swift. This will make all the other bug fixes and feature additions, iCloud, importer, UI, Audio, Video etc all easier to deal with. Right now the pipeline is ObjC gles/metal view controller runs the game loop, that calls into ObjC cores,

Big status report update on App Store development, code refactoring, bug fixing, etc. TLDR; another couple of weeks, but tons of speedups, code cleanups, project simplifying, compilation time decreases etc. It's worth the wait, the app will be much more polished.

By popular request, the new minimum iOS version for the app store builds will be 16.6 from 17.6. We're currently in review so if this build gets approved it will be another update before that change is made, but the next TestFlights will be for iOS16 unless something broke.

3DS working again. It's a little crash happy with my build of MoltenVK but that can be resolved. Once it's stable again I'll re-add it to the builds. Non JIT iPhone 13 Pro.

Provenance Lite for tvOS was approved. Still waiting for iOS. Resubmitted thrice now. In the meantime, I fixed Jaguar and Medanfen GameBoy. 3DS is borked -- I thought updating MoltenVK would fix it but no dice. I may need to pull it for now.

The rumour is this build works on macOS. You have to manually code-sign on the console, though. YMMV. `sudo codesign -f -s - /Applications/Provenance.app/Contents/MacOS/Provenance`.

The standard version will ship with these native cores plus retroarch wrapper for these. It comes in over 1GB, lite is under 300MB and doesn't use any retroarch and has some more updated versions of various custom ports.

Major breakthrough tonight! I figured out a way to call the existing core code from the new Swift wrapper without having to hand convert large sections of the core code. This means an expedited release schedule for 3.0. Maybe a few weeks?. Thanks for all the Patreon support.

Improved design for "Systems List" in settings, also it now hides systems that have no active cores in the build, therefore correctly hiding PS2, Dreamcast etc in App Store builds.

PS2 support via Play! 0.58 is coming along nicely. Supports either GLES or Vulkan via MoltenVK via an option. Save states and upscaling are also working. Performance improvements and JIT support will be next on the table before release.

I revived the old reicast codebase. This is without JIT on iPhone 13 Pro. If only flycast worked without JIT! . Audio is glitched due to bad code not performance. Now to port to Provenance.

Last build with 3ds was unstable due to too new of a moltenvk. Downgraded and this is how it’s running on a 13 pro. It’s ok, I’m sure a 14 or 15 would be great. 👍 . New build coming
