Anonymity is vital for political & corporate dissent. It's also vital for the LGBT+ community who may be unable or unwilling to disclose their true identity.

I think.
There were no colour photos in 1800... the concept having been invented in 1855 by Maxwell (of electromag fame) the first being taken in the 1860s & only becoming mainstream from late 1890s.
Not to mention how you'd even go about calculating this.

Just because people were in care homes that didn't mean that they were expendable or acceptable collateral damage. Many would have had a good number of years left if only they'd been protected.
Also not everyone in a care home is at the end stage of their life either.

LGBTQ+ kids exist.
They exist independently of any interaction with elder LGBTQ+ people.
I know this because I was one. I had no LGBTQ+ adults in my life as a child. Still gay.๐คทโโ๏ธ
