Social Services have backed off taking us to court bcos 12yo masks & takes HEPA round school prob bcos they had no science to back up their claims, 12yo would have educated them about risk & mitigations in court & lies by school have been disproved. Huge sigh of relief tonight.

Have reported my kids’ school to HSE. Govt Covid guidance from Dec 2022 states schools should be “ensuring occupied spaces are well ventilated and let fresh air in”. They are not doing so & my 11yo has to ask every lesson! Please do they same if you want safer schools!

This is my 12yo! Her unmasked friends are kind, supportive and tolerant. Her subject teachers too. But it is driving the senior leadership of the school mad that she is happy and successful in a mask! They want to wean her off mask and filter by Sept. We are resisting!

I left because there are no Covid mitigations in schools & I did not want to get Covid repeatedly. Teachers have 1 of the highest rates of Long Covid. MAKE SCHOOLS COVID SAFE.

Teacher was asking about 12yo’s CO2 monitor. He asked about the reading, which we download when she gets home so she’s not distracted in class. She says he is very inquisitive, so am going to send him print out of the day & table explaining results. It’s a start!

Older kids been going out indoors unmasked. Have had to live separately in house to protect others incl CEV. Husband caved in and now letting them back in main house. I only want them to mask up but am baddie spoiling their fun. Divorce proceedings started.

I know this might be hard to read but get your son well first. Do not worry too much about school work. If he can, get him to listen to relevant podcasts or read. He can re-do his final year. He may not want to but it is important to get well first.

My husband just told his school he would not go in until he tested neg. It is wrong to go in knowingly positive. Most of your kids will not be vaxxed. Some will have vulnerable relatives. Pls do not go in.

The school LIED to social services - said she was underachieving, had no friends & did no extra curricular activities. All untrue. Has just been picked to represent her year in a Maths competition and 75/77 in French test, including full marks in spoken part WITH A MASK ON!

It doesn't go away when/if you recover and reinfections are bad. Yet schools seem ok with kids getting infected & reinfected & my 15yo still has 3 1/2 yrs to go & my 11yo 7 1/2 yrs. I do not want them infected at all, let alone reinfected but school don't care. What can I do?

Talked 2 husband about how people with LC cannot donate blood. He agreed with me that every time you get infected your risk of LC increases. I asked where that got us & he said less blood donors & that some1, somewhere has to do something. I am that some1 but he won’t support me.

Controversial tweet coming up! Wish heads would use their heads and not just “follow the guidance”! It is quite clear that as soon as masks were no longer compulsory infections sky rocketed. A simple but effective measure. Husband’s school carried on with masks. Why not others?
