Members at Coventry School Foundation are taking strike action today over attempts to force them to choose between their pension and their pay. Teachers should not have to choose between being worse off now or worse off in the future. @NASUWTWestMids
Pickets out in force this morning at Coventry School Foundation sites at Bablake and King Henry VIII, striking against loss of pension rights. Eight more strike days are planned this month! Solidarity! #NASUWT #NEU #TPS #CSF

We need- - Improvements to the teachers' contract to give stronger protections against excessive workload & working hours -Investment in trained in-school counsellors & services beyond the school gates to reduce the strain on teachers -a national workforce plan to recruit & retain teachers, restore teachers' wellbeing & morale & build strong multi-disciplinary teams who are equipped to meet the needs of all pupils. @EdSupportUK
