The 11ft wide strip of Sunnyhill Road pictured is effectively the only way in and out of the Valley Road sector of the Streatham Wells LTN. Between two red route bays, it only allows one way traffic at a time. (Photos taken in the early hours so road surface can be seen.)

Thanks for all the interest. I've replied to those with useful questions or points and blocked the few offensive ones. As said above, car parking is enforced but bike's is not. The existence of bad car parking does not mean bad bike parking doesn't. Goodnight.

There are established ways of dealing with bad parking and @TfL (red lines, red route) can identify owners and fine them £££. For rental bikes only the operator can id the user and enforce good parking. @lambeth_council has created nearby bay for the bikes which should be used.

@TheStage @ParkTheatre The former Streatham Hill Theatre was able to sink ships on stage! . In 'Cavalcade' Coward only hinted at Titanic sinking. But Novello had the drama of a sinking liner in 'Glamorous Night'. It was possible with Streatham Hill's machinery, which could match Drury Lane's bridge.

@Mazzaseaburn @TfL @lambeth_council As in my other posts in this specific spot there is compkexity over jurisdiction and status of the space but authorities could drop by and ticket offenders. An able bodied person might move the bike but Lime need to be told to take action to prevent recurrence.

@DragonNexus @MonarchWolf @limebike @lambeth_council Not instantly but they know where it is by GPS and who hired it and can contact them and tell them about the allocated bay. And they do fine repeat offenders I understand. They also have roving teams to clear and move bikes around as required, e.g to meet demand.

We think there have been lease changes since the freehold was sold, but they are not yet registered at Land Reg. There should also be a gaming licence change but again nothing seen so far.
