Everyone's asking for my take on the Lore + Arod situation. Instead of replying to all the DM's here you go:
1. The contact is ironclad regarding a call option around the closing. This basically says the NBA has to approve before they can close, therefore an automatic extension.
For those who are asking, here’s my point of view on the latest development below regarding Timberwolves ownership:
I'm hopeful that Lore and Alex win. This is solely for three reasons:
1. I’ve seen their vision for the franchise, and I think it’s super exciting. A lot of
ESPN Sources: A mediation session has been set for May 1 in Minneapolis in the Timberwolves’ ownership dispute between Glen Taylor and the Marc Lore/Alex Rodriguez group. Taylor ended ownership transition when he said Lore/ARod failed to meet deadlines on sales conditions.

“These guys came in and helped me have the best team I’ve ever had. Now I can sell for more so I’m going to do all I can to do that” - what I hear him saying.
Whole thing is odd though. They definitely have enough money. Seems to me Glen is trying to get out of his own deal.
@marshal
I own one of these. Most incredible tech ever, incredible to drive. Never have had an issue.
Most reliable car I’ve ever owned, falcon doors and all.
And I beat the hell out of it in this Minnesota winter
I was with Lore like two weeks ago at his place in New York. He was pumped about the team, the Naz signing, Ant on Team USA, the stability in the organization, and thinks the team is poised for a huge year. We talked CBA, Jadens contract, stadium stuff.
The guy’s all in and

Yes. And the entire new front office. And extending the whole coaching staff. And Gobert. As a fun exercise, compare the number of positive team decisions that have been made over the past two decades versus the last two years.
Then decide who should really get credit for

This was one of my all time favorite answers from KAT. Perfect answer.
I’m so perplexed at the attacks. He’s all NBA, never in trouble, loyal as KG, and never once had any continuity or stability in his career. I guess we coulda taken Okafor
Lay off the guy.
@KFANRosen
Totally. Amazing he did this so publicly too. At a minimum, these are your partners. Another example of tarnishing the Timberwolves brand and the fans.
Hard to believe he has a chance in court too. I don’t foresee a scenario where Lore and Alex go nuclear, like today, if their

Jon does an incredible job in these. You can tell he’s comfortable chatting it up and the players are too.

Great job by one of the premier reporters in the country.

Must see TV. Has there ever been another company constantly doing such cool things where people tune in to experience it?
Also, the fact it will likely crash the whole tower and be a huge disaster the first few times - and they will still air it live is a historic flex as well.
@DWolfsonKSTP
They are definitely coming. Hopefully, someday, my biggest question in all this will be answered: Why is Glen treating his partners this way? Regardless of what happens, their group owns ~40% and they need to work together

Agreed! I think that will totally happen post Glen.
Reminder too on Glen - he deserves a statue too for keeping the team here twice. This is a great last chapter he’s writing by taking less money to keep the team here, and he chose good people to take over.

The closing isn’t simple. Never is for any business. My company is small compare to $1.5B, and it took me a year and six figures. Thus why 90 day period for NBA approvals.
But, the contract is simple. You can read it for yourself.
I'm having a bad day. It happens. And, when it does, I try to do something great for someone else so at least they can have a good day.
So, I'm giving away 2 tickets to the

This feels like clickbait. Weirdly way off. Who are you taking to?
Where has Lore been?
It’s the off-season and he’s a CEO of an startup that raised close to a billion dollars. He’s working his ass off.
Also, wasn’t Lore was just with the team in UAE? Like, two days ago?!
Credit to Marc Lore, I stole his framework years ago to scale our business. As I stated on the Dane Moore Podcast during my appearances, I’ve studied Marc for almost a decade. He’s brilliant, but also driven by values.
There’s no one else I would have wanted to buy my favorite

Glen has failed in his public commentary to get any of the specifics correct. Rather it due to old age or neglect matters not.
Facts are facts and I’m not confident he knows them.
People ask me why he’s doing this if he’s as certain to lose as we suspect?
Because: he really

They don’t want to move the team. Their plans for the next stadium are insane - and privately funded.
The NBA doesn’t want them moved either. A new team is what the NBA wants - that’s new revenue.

Just received some numbers, and proud to share that we had the most listened to sports podcast in Minnesota for October -- and there's only been one Wolves game. Not basketball, all sports.
For about a year I’ve been on with Dane taking about how we should expect great things with this new ownership.
Competency in organizations starts at the top and permeates on down.
The Timberwolves have the NBA's
#1
-ranked defensive rating this year.
One of the big reasons?
Jaden McDaniels
Opponents are shooting only 33.3% from 2-point range when defended by McDaniels, 16.6% worse than expected.
McDaniels is one of the league’s most versatile stoppers.

Above all else in the world we must first decide what to do with Jesus, who claimed he was God.
We have questions to ask here:
1. Is he a liar? Claiming to be something and he is not.
2. Is he a lunatic? Believing he is God when of course he is not.
3. He is
