Until this is verified by international sources, I'm going to take this as continued Israeli propaganda. So far the only source are saying "some soldiers said..." Nothing has been verified. Even Elon is on record for saying there is misinformation on a scale never seem. Be wary.

The only reason COPS, justice system are so against decriminalization or legalization of drugs, is that half their budget would disappear. Imagine all the money we could invest in society at large. Imaging food security for families, housing, infrastructure, etc...

Let's settle this stupid argument once and for all. People use drugs in every profession. There is also a sliding scale of impairment. I smoke weed all day, every day and do the admin, payroll, etc for 250 ppl. There is maintenance high (which is base level) then high high. 🤦♂️

12 stp programs are notoriously shame based and ineffective in today's environment. I had friends who died because they were so shamed by these programs. There is more than one way to recover. Don't let anyone tell you you're not doing it right if you're in the wrong program.

You cannot OD from touching a bag of fentanyl. This is a perfect case for teaching kids about drugs and harm reduction, basically how to keep themselves safe. You want people to not use in playgrounds? Advocate for more safe consumption sites so they don't have to.

People don't seem to get that treatment alone does basically nothing. There is a saying in recovery, "sit in a Barbera chair long enough and you'll get a haircut". If you get sent back to the situation you were using in, you'll probably use again.
