Hard pill: If “pro-choice” is a nice [read: “politically correct”] way to say “pro-abort,” then “pro-life” is a nice way to say “pro-regulate,” and if “pro-life” is a nice way to say “pro-regulate,” then technically “pro-life” is really just a much nicer, way to say “pro-abort.”

When the preaching at the SBC Annual Meeting is a pompous tirade, it really stinks. And unfortunately, you can tell some of these guys have become so comfortable using sermons and songs as tools to manipulate good people, not worship God, they can’t tell the difference anymore.
I’ve cut some other things out. I’ve given more time to the business aspect of the meeting. I’ve added a whole other session to make sure that we have time.
But we will cut out the singing and the preaching and the inspirational entity reports over my dead body.

In the great state of OK, 81% of property tax goes to public education, 69% to public schools & 12% to vo-techs. The remaining 19% goes to cities, counties, & state. I want good roads & law enforcement, but my family homeschools, which I fund. Why should I pay for your kids too?
