Thanks to so many for your prayers. The Doctors and nurses at University of Michigan Hospital were special. The staff made & 8 hour surgery and a 5 night stay pretty seamless. Lots of staples accompanied with some new additions in my gut, but incredibly lucky. God is amazing.

The Coach Ernst told me years ago do not worry about who shows up to open gyms, The good ones will always be there. The HS coach who has to force kids to open gym doesn't know how to build a program. Inspire your players and open the gym more often.

If a HS administration tells any coach to not attend Saturday's rally, shame on them. Game over for that Superintendent or AD. I have heard comments from some supposed school leaders that are incredibly troubling. These folks need to go get a paycheck elsewhere.

Real coaching is different. It is for the long-term, not the immediate. Unfortunately in the modern education system we often create incredibly soft student-athletes that have a hard time accepting real coaching. I appreciate COACH still actually coaching his guys.

I spent many years coaching in, running events or recruiting this hoop tourney weekend. I would advise so many of these boys to find a park or get in the driveway and get better before you ruin any chance of a future scholarship by exposing your current level of game.

I have only coached a summer hs hoops season twice. Very fun when I was a player many moons ago, but probably incredibly overrated when it comes to predicting real success in the hs season.

I see everyone now crying about getting masks up. I have watched maskless HS ball all over the country this year. After one game of Pressure defense for 32 minutes it is obvious what the WHO says is correct-No strenuous exercise with a mask on. Real Risk.

Mens Basketball MIAA Championships are not that easy to win. A great mens Basketball league, with 3 of D3's best facilities. It took us almost 560 days to do it. Seemed like forever at the time.

Aim High will have 2 AAU HS boys teams this season that I will be coaching. A senior and under and a Sophomore and under. These teams will be coached very hard. They will play a Spring and July season. DM if interested.
