Our positive rate in Monroe County is even lower (12%). We have been selective about testing, so I conclude that our overall infection rate remains low. This means many of us are still susceptible, so if we ease social distancing too quickly we risk prompting a spike in cases.

As we look to reopen, the science of transmission is increasingly important to understand. “The main sources for infection are home, workplace, public transport, social gatherings, and restaurants. This accounts for 90% of all transmission events.”

"Well you know, you never really can practice for a pitch like that," Mendoza said. "With activity and baseball and our community coming together. It's just an awesome feeling."
