It is based on the 737, first flown 1965. With Max they added low mounted engines (to compete with Airbus) that created a pitching up force increasing AOA and risking a stall. Boeing countered with MCAS that provided nose down force. Caused problems too lengthy to describe here.

Talk about missing the point. When people say private company in this context they mean private sector. A Publicly held company is still private sector. The issue here isn’t stock ownership obvi.

Politically Aldean is on the right track. The problem is that it’s just not a good song. It’s not catchy like Johnny Cash songs (Jackson, Folsom Prison Blues, etc). Modern country sucks big time. I’ll take old Hank Williams any day over this crap.
