Your Mental health does not care about how much money you make or how successful you are. It doesn’t care how many friends you have. It ignores the people who love you. Depression has no barriers and no limits. Depression lies to you and tells you that nobody really cares. Depression blinds you so you can’t see tomorrow. You can’t see past your current reality. It tells you that your future is worse than your present. It only shows you worst case scenarios in your head. Depression also causes you to go deaf. The “I love yous” don’t make it to your heart. Nothing taste good, nothing sounds good and all you want to do is isolate yourself. It’s nasty business It takes over your whole life. I know this first hand and right in the middle of this shit storm. Remind yourself there is ALWAYS a tomorrow and friends and family all around. Also please remember that life is both tragic AND beautiful. Try as hard as possible to look forward to life again. Zero trauma dump btw RIP 😞

Then it was revealed that he had 3 driving citations while at Georgia. Dude had a lot of issues. Then it was leaked that he only wanted to play for Dallas. All of that made his draft stock drop. My Hawks sadly passed on him and took Devon Witherspoon (who Detroit really wanted) then Detroit traded back and a few other teams passed on him until Philly nabbed him at 9. Either his agent or a scout also leaked that he did not want to play for a small market team like Seattle. I remember the Seahawk boards were lit on fire wanting him and D tackle was a huge need for us that year. A local beat writer said that Pete Carroll knew Carter didn’t want us and Pete didn’t want him.
