This first action tomorrow is, as I understand it, unique. Perhaps because nobody has had the evidence to prove this before, or realised this was a criminal offence. Once I’ve made my report, I’ll share what the offence is. I’m sure many more can pursue same action.

As for the fine. £625k for a man who earns £8mio annually in total remuneration and is worth over £50mio? Whereas whistleblowers lose job, blacklisted by the industry and has career ended..... bravo

Another FCA 'investigation' conducted by 'bank friendly' law firms. Is there a mandate; "You can only undertake work for the FCA if you can prove that you have multiple banks as your clients and never bring claims against them"?
