It was great to take a break from the campaign trail to pop into Bramhall Festival and Heald Green Fest. Luckily the rain held off and everyone was able to enjoy the stalls and activities on offer! Thanks to everyone involved in organising these fantastic community events!

Only we have a clear plan for bold action to deliver a secure future for our country.
Don't risk going back to square one with Labour and the Lib Dems!
As Parliament has been dissolved and there are currently no MPs, I was unable to introduce my Whistleblowing Bill on Friday.
If I have the privilege of being re-elected as Cheadle’s MP on 4 July, rest assured I will bring it back to Parliament.
On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom.
I'm pleased that Rishi Sunak has pledged to introduce the Veterans Bill which will enshrine veterans’ rights and recognise all those who who fought for our country.
After a busy day campaigning across Cheadle constituency it’s great to join the team and watch the

Pear Tree Academy, a brand-new £17m SEND school for 133 pupils, is almost ready to open in September! It was great to visit the site today and see the amazing progress which has been made, as well as speak to Sarah who is completing her degree apprenticeship on the project!
On the 7th anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack, my thoughts are with the families of the innocent victims who were killed on that day.
I also congratulate
@FigenMurray
who today completes her walk from Manchester to London as part of her campaign for Martyn's Law.
Seven years on, our thoughts and hearts go out to all the innocent victims and their families, who tragically lost their lives or were affected by the Manchester Arena attack on Monday 22 May 2017.
We will always remember them. 🐝

We've all been shocked by the infected blood scandal and its impact on victims over many decades. Today in the Commons I welcomed the Government's scheme of compensation for victims whilst asking how we can get rid of the cover-up culture which delayed justice for too long.
Today’s
@Telegraph
piece on NHS silencing of whistleblowers and cover-up only reinforces the need for a complete overhaul of the UK’s whistleblowing legislation and protections. My

Bill will do this and I encourage Ministers to back it.
Prison officers, like police, work in a challenging and often dangerous environment. Today, I asked the Justice Secretary what plans he has to reduce the retirement age so it is also in line with policing
With more police on the beat and crime coming down it is important that swift justice follows. Today I asked the Attorney General what plans the Government has to introduce a CPS presence within Police Stations to speed up this process. See my question below 👇
Residents across Cheadle constituency are heading to the polls to vote for our hardworking Conservative candidates!
The Lib Dems have failed Stockport with increased Council Tax, fewer bin collections and free parking abolished!
Vote Conservative today to put a stop to this!
