that 5-0 loss to arsenal was inevitable and expected in a way (awful lineup from us and their form). I was fairly confident we'd beat United at OT since they had a poor form and we had just beaten Brighton with 10 men but the humbling bought me back to reality with poch

what separates Cobham from other academies is just the sheer volume of graduates who go on to play in the premier league or in the other top 5 European leagues. Post Lampard most academy players (including average players) had clear pathways to the first team.
