Liverpool has been so inactive this transfer window that their own aggregators are resorting to reporting on a Chelsea player moving to Atletico Madrid - despite it having no connection to Liverpool whatsoever.
Atleti fans deserve all the respect for this welcome to Conor Gallagher after the treatment from Chelsea, must be a great feeling for him.

"Poch = Player focused. How can I empower the individual and profile them to best use their skillset". Levi Colwill - LB.Ben Chilwell - LW.Enzo Fernandez - shadow striker.
Unironically prefer Pochettino's. Ultimately it highlight a fundamental difference between Maresca & Poch. Maresca = shape + system focused. Where can we get numerical advantages. Poch = Player focused. How can I empower the individual and profile them to best use their skillset.

"Everyone is strengthening". Man City: 1 signing from their sister club. Liverpool: 0 signings. Arsenal: 1 signing which was making a loan permanent. Tottenham: 1 signing from the Championship and a renewed loan of Timo Werner. Man Utd: 2 signings. Chelsea, who are "left.
It feels like Chelsea are getting left behind in this transfer window. Everyone is strengthening whilst we’re going after players that may be good or not . We need a statement signing, be it a striker or left winger before the window closes.

To celebrate the start of the 2024 summer transfer window, here is a screenshot of EVERY SINGLE @FabrizioRomano "Here we go" and @David_Ornstein BOMBA made under the Boehly/Clearlake era. Fellow transfer window dopamine lovers, enjoy. Let's start with the first. Raheem Sterling.

Graham Potter wasn't hired by the sporting directors. No reason for them to give him time. Pochettino was hired on 2 year contract with a planned review after year 1. Does it look like the plan with him was long-term?. They brought Poch in for 2 main reasons in my opinion. 1).
Pissing me off that people are acting like us saying we will be patient with Maresca is just bs. Potter won like 4 in 17 before he got sacked is that not patience. Don’t even get me started on poch him lasting the season took ultimate patience , I’d of sacked him 5 times.

Barcola, Wharton, Durán, Omorodion, Nico Williams, Olise etc. What do they all have in common?. 1) They were all scouted by our directors/scouts BEFORE they became stars. 2) Our fanbase, largely, ridiculed our directors for "not being serious" when first linked. *This summer.
🔴🔵✨ Brace tonight for Bradley Barcola as PSG beat Rennes at home…. …6 goals in 6 Ligue 1 games for Barcola since the start of the season! 💎

Give it a couple of years and we will be one of the absolute favorites every season. People think we were SOOOO f*cking good when Roman owned us but guess what? Since 2016-17 - 2021-22 we were consistently 20-30 points away from winning the league. We were left in a HORRIBLE.
Miss the good old days when we used to find ourselves absolutely buzzing ahead of a new season, safe in the knowledge that our club would be there or thereabouts battling it out for the greatest honours in the game. Get them Clearlake m*gs gone so that we can have our Chels back.

Did they f*ck it up when they signed Jackson or Palmer? . As for the CF position, we have one of the most exciting young CFs in the world in Jackson, off the back of a 14-goal debut season in the PL. Complimenting him with another young, high-potential signing to push him isn't.
Not going to stay silent whilst the ‘recruitment team’ f*ck this up. It’s apparently the last window of a 4 window plan, yet they haven’t even completed the striker position, we don’t have a top quality GK, and we need another winger and LB too if we want to compete again.

Did you just admit that you're "disconnected" from the club because they're not winning?. It's amazing how international fans seemingly has a bigger potential for connection to the club than the "born and raised proppa Chels".
I’m not afraid to admit I feel slightly disconnected to the club right now. I just can’t get my head round a lot of things. I’ll always support my team & I know that connection will come back over time, I just don’t know how to feel right now. #CFC.

This is literally all 3 of Chelsea's main "DMs" lol.
🚨 Mikel Arteta wants to have a number of different options at #6. He wants to be able to pick from a pure passer, another who is physical & one who is press resistant. With that, Arteta would be able to reconfigure his midfield for any given game. [@MiguelDelaney]

Not only did we fork out £115m(add-ons included) for Caicedo, we also forked out £54m+£4m for Roméo Lavia 2 days later.
JUST CHECKED CHELSEA FINANCIAL STATEMENT 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂the reason they haven’t placed a new bid on caicedo is that they’re capped at 105M, anything more is a clear violation of the FFP rules. Our bid is 111M.

Maatsen the one on the main picture. What, are they going to claim that £37.5m is an inflated price for him?. Burnley offered us £31.5m for him LAST summer. His release clause was £35m. He was sold for £37.5m. How is that inflated?.
🚨Academy players going for inflated fees: BBC Sport knows of at least one club that is so concerned it intends to raise the matter with the Premier League.

To further explain the nuance of what has happened for the people who are ready to listen and actually view things objectively. First of all, Argentina players are not actually racist. However, they have likely grown up in societies where using "slang terms" to refer to other.
My Son was invited to watch Chelsea players train in Atlanta last summer. One of the memorable moment of that day was Enzo meeting my Son. He made my sons day as could be seen in the video. Enzo squatting down to establish eye contact with him was a thoughtful gesture.

This entirely lacks context and nuance. Clearlake/Boehly hasn't abandoned previous projects because they were trigger happy. The whole project started when the sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, was appointed. This was AFTER the arrival of Graham Potter.
What you fail to understand, despite being reminded of several times, is that there is no trust in ownership based on events from day one to present. Asking people to have ‘faith’ in a project when ownership abandoned the previous one and the one before, because they failed.

100% agree. Maybe you, as a big account with a lot of followers and a lot of magnitude on here, should keep away from anything negative for a while and even provide us with "toxic" positivity if you have to. I know it's not "right" and everyone should be allowed to say what they.
Chelsea fans, we need to come together, it is open season on us, everyone is having a dig and spreading half truths or nonsense without any context or thinking. This is our club, we need to get behind it.

If you are a supporter, it means you SUPPORT the club. It's literally written in the word. If you throw abuse at a young, 19 year old player like Anselmino or a young 20 year old like Samu, do you think it makes them more likely, or less likely, to succeed here?. Less? Okay.
Just peeped the comments under Anselmino’s announcement post on Instagram, honestly people, do you want to make players second-guess coming here because of the fans? If you aren’t impressed with the signing or don’t know who he is, then don’t comment.

@OfficialVizeh @dph51234 This is exactly what me and many others have tried to argue for the past few days with Liverpool fans. For these kids, Chelsea were MASSIVE growing up. Liverpool on the other hand was in a pretty lengthy slump. This explains why some players actually prefer moves to Chelsea.

What Pep is alluding to here is the most underrated aspect of the rebuild Clearlake, Boehly and our SDs have done. Like he says: How do you sustain such a massive rebuild with such a massive squad financially?. We have sold players for more than £500m, moved on academy players.
Pep Guardiola: "Next season #ManCity - Chelsea already have the squad - have to be 25 or 30 players! How do you sustain financially? We won’t have revenues, impossible! Why do we have revenue this season? We sold a lot! Combine financials and demands for the team, it’s tough!".

Mikel is the type of guy who, if he was in charge, would have signed the likes of Lukaku, Sterling, Koulibaly, Aubameyang etc for instant success.
John Obi Mikel reveals he has spoken to a sporting director at Chelsea and says that the structure of the club is a mess, the sporting director replied with the fact that this is a 5-10 year project and Mikel believes there is no such thing and we must win now and get back to.

Also, has to be said. People do NOT understand WHY Chalobah and Gallagher are for sale. People assume these players are for sale purely because they represent pure-profit on the books. However, that's clearly not the case. If it was, James and Colwill would have been gone a long.
@cbwftbl Chalobah bar Fofana is our best RCB, I can say that confidently. And Fofana can’t stay fit. Reece and Colwill may be up for sale once Clearlake have run out of assets to sell, and you’ll have people defend those decisions too. They are taking the soul from our club.

People haven't yet reached the point where they are able to see WHY Chelsea are signing as many young players as they do. They still believe every signing has to have a direct pathway into the first team. The reality is, of all these young players we sign, every single one of.
Investing in these kids at low transfer fees opens up the possibility of selling them down the road to help keep us sustainable. Clearly, the fans shit themselves every time we sell academy kids - this is an alternate version of that.

How? By paying his clause. £113m paid in one installement and wages of £300k p/w on top of a very high agent fee. Why is he struggling to get interest? Apart from all the things I listed above, he's coming off the back of a not great season, he's got a questionable injury record.
How can we get Victor Osimhen out of Napoli . why is he struggling to attract top clubs . Why is Sesko attracting more offers than Osimhen ?. Expecially when we are in an era where , Nicholas Jackson is Chelsea's 9 , Hojlund is united 9 , Havertz play's 9 for Arsenal sometimes

I think we have agreed personal terms, I think Palace are happy with what we want to pay. If they weren't, they wouldn't have allowed us to speak directly to the player. I think we're just waiting for Michael to make his decision and I think it's between Chelsea and Bayern. Of.
If we don’t get Michael Olise I’m gonna be fuming. He’s right there and we’ve “made him our obsession” but I guarantee you if we don’t get him it’s because we putzed around and still tried to do things either the way Palace or Olise didn’t want us to.

This is what media gaslighting does. You actually have directors from other clubs speaking absolute bullsh*t publicly.
🚨 Bayern director Eberl: “You can't go into the season with 35 players, or do like Chelsea with 45 players…”. “We spent money on Olise, Palhinha and Hiroki. So as a club you have to generate money”, he said while explaining why they sold Matthijs de Ligt.

An absolutely MUST read thread on Enzo Maresca's whole career and why people should maybe be a little more careful talking about things they don't know enough about. This thread was written back in March when Maresca wasn't even linked with Chelsea. Again, I understand that.

I really didn't expect this to blow up like this. I appreciate all the comments, either good or bad and I appreciate you all taking the time to read this very long thread. I respect that many will still not be in support of the project. I just felt it was important to get this.
People are wanting the old regime back. In 2017/18, we finished outside of the top 4, almost 30 points behind Man City. Sacked the manager. In 2018/19, we scrapped top-4 in matchday 37, again finishing 25 points behind Man City. Sacked the manager. In 2019/20 we scrapped top 4.

This guy is one of best non-Chelsea accounts out there. He's actually seeing a lot of things about our project that many Chelsea fans can't even do. Respect for that.
I’ll be the first to admit, I thought the Chelsea directors were clueless at first, and were following a “throw enough mid at the wall, some of it will stick” philosophy. And I was quite wrong. Maybe it is true so a small extent, but you look at some of the targets — and it is.
