I knew these students personally and saw them daily. I dont have a lot of words right now, but I will say this. They were active members of my OWL shift and some of the kindest people I knew. They not only wanted to learn from others, but also help others learn themselves

A year later and the pain is still there. Not a day goes by that I don't pause and think of Drake, Gavin, and Nic. Drake was suppose to be my roommate the following year, we were planning parties, game nights, and so much more. Gavin and Nic were going to live nearby and together

Well NWC. Its been real. Last in person day of work meant I got a bit more time in this building i fell in love with five years ago. This building is full of some of kindest and most awesome people and I know ill be back to visit for a variety of reasons. Thanks for the memories!

So I don't normally check honor roll stuff or anything like that cause im never on it (normally a B average student which is fine) but I managed to make the honor roll this past semester for the first time in college. Thats second semester of junior year of meteorology. Wow.

As an undergraduate student comments like this from professors are a major deterrent for seeking out a higher education. These comments also seek to discourage collaborations between students and universities which after this week of AMS is such a vital item for our field.
Learned a lot about graduate students today from Howie! They “don’t like dynamics anymore” and “don’t like to be interrupted”. They “hate derivations” and are so “sensitive to speech” that he “can’t make puns anymore”. Ultimately, “students have changed. [He] hasn’t.”

So this past week was my first

and I have to say 90% if it was an amazing experience. I have so much hope for the intersection of meteorology and communication and it’s future as well as a very health understanding of the importance of DEIJ efforts in our field.

My time in Guam is quickly coming to a close as I fly back stateside this Thursday and all I can say is I will miss Guam greatly and I will try my hardest to come back whenever I can. This experience has been a life changing one for sure. Looking forward to finishing this degree.

I have diagnosed Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD not because of fear. But because of the environment and trauma I have experienced. This notion that this year hasn't been traumatic purely because you are "not living in fear" is bull. This response is disgusting.

So update with my math grade. I was expecting a C and was content with a C. I ended up getting an 89% on the final which gave me a B. After nearly failing calc 2 twice getting a B in calc 3 is bizarre to me and im totally okay with this.
