So. My 4-year-old daughter saw the image of Rango while we were surfing Hulu for something to watch together and asked to watch the movie. She loves lizards and I recall liking this movie. So why not! It’s rated PG! Really... really forgot how instantly weird this movie is.

@BrndnStrssng Because it’s Gareth Edwards! Godzilla was one of the few modern movies to awe and frighten me with scale. Size! I was cautiously optimistic about this because of him. This feels like the artist has finally been defeated by the industry.

@aofarre @LizWolfeReason But this is why the loss of remote work is so bad. Most public sector workers have trouble affording to live in these counties. So the ability to emigrate to cheaper counties allows them to live a better life on less money. Going is a massive financial and time burden.

I had an AP teacher give me the derogatory nickname “Thesaurus” because I knew too many words.
I was accused of cheating in my 4th grade science fair because the judges didn’t believe I knew what “viscosity” meant. It’s crazy to me how almost every other smart person I know has a similar story of being punished for doing too well. The system is designed to crush you.
