Small time landlords thought it was a zero sum game of rents/values go up. There shouldnt be a cushion when the markets tighten up. Theres large landlords for a reason and its because they can scale and can manage the end risk.

The condo vs.SFH double standard is my least favorite part about Toronto. Roads with condos on can be closed for whatever project (night runs, marathons, commercials…) but folks on single family roads would be up in arms if someone dares close their road.
