Would be neat to use FLIRTs like these for some future regional rail service on all the unused ROW Ottawa is spoiled with...
Renfe’s new Stadler FLIRT (HC?). Three doors on the single deck cars with 2 doors on the double deck cars that are slightly higher than the ones on the single deck cars. Definitely a unique procurement in terms of Stadler FLIRTs/KISSes.

So Airport>Rideau trips using only the train range from taking 45 to 62 ish minutes depending on what time you take the train. Who are we kidding with this thing
Looks like every 3rd northbound Line 4 train waits here at the split for a southbound line 2 train to pass… for at least 6 minutes.

Looks like out of the 3 bus stops at Leitrim, the only 2 busses serving the station will use the stop comically far away from the O-Train station...

And you’re waiting 7 minutes to transfer to Line 2 at South Keys. The pocket track that we specifically built for seamless transfers won’t even get used because the switch movements are apparently too much. Promised seamless transfers, and we get up to 24 mins of waiting. Lol
