Agreed wholeheartedly. At the same time, the BBC should also raise awareness of other historical genocides, including the Armenian Genocide, which to date is not recognised by the UK and Hitler’s source of inspiration for the Armenian Genocide.

There were around 2000 Armenian churches and monasteries in Eastern Turkey, in the beginning of the 20th century. That number is now in the low teens. The scale of destruction imposed on Armenians is just immense.
