As the first female editor of the ZaöRV, I would like to see many more submissions by women - from all over the world.

As an IL journal, we are concerned about the lack of diversity in IL institutions. We encourage submissions by female authors, but looking at the numbers of women in IL practice, we see why so many brilliant women are hesitant to raise voice. This should change. Without delay.

A little hungover today…but yesterday’s @MPILheidelberg Sommerfest ‘22 was a success. Including being a barman as a duty of new employees, and learning which researchers have the dance skills…💃🕺🏾

@j_emtseva The job market for PhDs in international law is fragmented, and the standards differ and are changing. For me, the dissertation still counts most of all. Some teaching experience helps. Everything else might be nice to have, not more . 🏄‍♀️.

My first peer-reviewed article is out with @Ger_Law_Journal 😭 The article is based on my working paper from last year, where I showcase the challenges of a female ECR from the Global South who is trying to navigate the field of international law.

How did Jakob Zollmann realize that IL historians had come a long way? He opened @Inge_van_hulle 's book and saw maps included, which years ago were not accepted IL history sources. However, there is a lot more to her book that he appreciates. Read here:
