That was awesome. My 91yr old grandfather is always glad to see me. I visit him weekly. He doesn’t remember week to week tho. Grandma remembered for him. She passed 4 months ago. I take him a Coke. His face lights up like a little boy on Christmas

As a survivor of extensive csa/r, I spoke to my 16yr son, at length, when he first started playing those types of games, about predators. I told him to drop off, immediately, if he started getting anything abusive, sexual, or just plain creepy.

I knew a young lady, 17yrs, died from ectopic pregnancy, while in the hospital under care. They never did a pregnancy test. She bled out and passed in a span of 20 minutes. Which was how long it took for her dad to get a cup of coffee.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I super highly recommend checking on your title. There’s been a notable uptick in title theft/fraudulent sales, and fraudulent 2nd mortgages taken out. I only say this because of that ABB issue. And kudos to ABB CSR who helped you!

Corey Feldman been saying this for years. Corey Haim ran out of fight. Makes perfect sense how soo many child performers fall into drugs and alcohol (self medication), as they near adulthood. Most of them don’t survive the transition, career wise.

When I was little (4-5) I tried telling my parents, but didn’t have the vocabulary. That was for csa/r occurring outside the home. But once the physical abuse ramped up, at home, I dissociated through all of it. So, in some fashion, there wasn’t anything to tell.

Doesn’t say, but they used to be capable of ejecting 300ft up, to ensure flyers clear the aircraft before seat falls away and chutes pop. During in-flight ejections, that 300ft isn’t needed, but for situations like this, it makes all the difference for their survival.

Pastor of church I used to attend, would speak about this about every 3 months or so. Would call out those who actively practiced the no tipping thing. Would say “what’s the point of being blessed financially, if you just gonna keep it to yourself?”

A person I know, said that at her store, they DO NOT punish their employees, until, or, unless it would create negative PR if they didn’t. One worker had been time stealing for well over 2 years, and taking food for dinner, without paying, every day she worked. Not fired.

According to what the filmer wrote in his FB post of the event, his cousin was sitting on his bike when some rando cop driving by, stopped and this event unfolded. He did NOT say the cop pulled him over. Cop said he looked like someone from earlier.

Lundy Bancroft’s book “Why does he do that?” is a great resource to help understand this whole situation. He counseled men/couples for court ordered therapy. He saw this very thing happening right in front of him. Was published in 2003.

One day last year I called out a couple of guys at my barbershop, for victim shaming/blaming a young lady, because their friend raped her. She reported and heir friend got 10 years(!!! Yay!!!) and lifetime registry for sexually violent offenders.

Oftentimes “resilience” manifests as various dissociative experiences. We “appear” resilient because dissociation protects our conscious selves. I have no memory of 80-90% of my childhood for this very reason.
