Exactly the same deafening silence from charities supposedly advocating for elderly &disabled. They refused to bite the hand that funds them & when it came to opposing visiting restrictions, just regurgitated the Government's "keeping them safe" mantra.Shameful #TogetherSocialCare

Not death from AGEING;more accurately: death from AGEISM, the pervasive & pernicious culture that deems elderly lives to be of less value & therefore less deserving of resources. God forbid that you reach the age of 65+ & find yourself in hospital/care facility . @CompassnInCare

On the basis of mounting evidence from families, we suspect dementia was/is not the cause of many of these deaths. #TogetherSocialCare will be hosting an online discussion on elderly excess deaths in January focusing on the impact of neglect & the abuse of #EndOfLife 'pathways'

More than 1 in 10 deaths in the UK last year were caused by dementia and Alzheimer's disease. That's according to a shocking new analysis by Alzheimer's Research UK, a charity aiming to find a cure for the illness.

@antoguerrera @mattinodipadova The people are outside, not crammed together in a closed space. The majority are also young. As long as the elderly/vulnerable remain shielded over the coming weeks to reduce their risk, I can't see the problem here.

We know for a fact that the Liverpool Care Pathway was abolished in name only. The protocol continued under the radar for 6 years until 2020 when, under Matt Hancock's watch, it was used to fast-track thousands of the elderly and vulnerable to their graves.

@drdavidbull @sarahhewsonTV @TalkTV @MattHancock @Amanda_M_Hunter It’s worth reminding everyone that involuntary euthanasia is illegal & the Liverpool Care Pathway was ‘supposedly’ abolished in 2014. @MattHancock ignored advice from doctors not to use NG163 but the arrogant egotist went ahead with his plans. This MUST be investigated.

Agreed. It's not the role of the State to police when, where,& how often we see & spend time with OUR families, or who gets to see a Dr/gets treatment. Yet this is exactly what happened during #lockdown , with catastrophic consequences. It's STILL happening now. #TakeBackDemocracy

@Amanda_M_Hunter There’s no excuse for the behaviour of the state in its handling of inhabitants of care homes. A promise of a ring of steel around care homes was a bare faced lie that ultimately resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands either through euthanasia, broken hearts or a virus 🤬🤬

That this poor man was forced to call 999 from his hospital bed, speaks to the dark & Orwellian turn the NHS has taken. Before long, we'll be referring to it as the National Harms Service. Many already are. NHS Covid protocols have left frail/over 65s fearing hospitalization.
