Chris is right. If there was a change of Government and the BMA accepted an offer at those terms then the only conclusion is that their action - and all the harm to patients it has caused - has been politically motivated.
Striking that this deal almost identical to what government in England put on the table - and wasn't accepted
If Labour offer junior doctors in England the same, will they accept?

Protecting patient care during the upcoming strike is my foremost concern.
Therefore I am glad that the BMA have responded to requests from the NHS to provide doctors to support cancer services in the trusts impacted by the ongoing cyber attack.
To prevent dangerous delays to cancer care, we are granting a derogation for surgical registrars working on high-risk upper GI, head and neck, and lung cancers at three hospital trusts: Lewisham and Greenwich, Guys & St Thomas' and Kings College Hospital. 1/3

The IFS warned the Labour Party against making these comparisons, given the methodology has changed.
The fairer comparison is between the present day NHS in England and Labour-run Wales, where patients wait nearly six weeks longer for care.
This is the difference a Labour government can make.
Change will only happen if you vote for the NHS and vote Labour on Thursday 4 July.
