I honestly think this is the fault of cameras becoming our default mirrors nowadays. People unconsciously assume they work the same way when they don't
@kaitsnod
I'm getting really annoyed with this rise of "fundamentals are just a style", like no, fundamentals are fundamentals and will greatly improve your style since you'll know how visual design works. As my art teacher always said, you need to know the rules in order to break them

I don’t even understand? It’s literally because her boobs aren’t falling out. Like, I’m a fully grown woman and I’d look the same if I was wearing a breast plate and shorts under my skirt. News flash, not all women have DD boobs and they’re not less feminine because of it.

Also, they need to stop romanticizing the 80’s in terms of character design. It pisses me off so much to hear these nerds (who never took a design class in their life) talk about the superiority of the 80s more “realistic” style when the designs only looked decent standing still.

Especially mentally ill and neurodivergent folks. Whenever I hear people defend the cops, I remember this story and it breaks my heart. The police are not on our side. Stop calling them:

This is why it's not just demand, it's capitalist industry. These planes literally fly themselves when no one is on them. The solution to emissions from aviation is nationalization of the aviation industry, high speed rail, and an overhaul of working hours and labor.

I'm just waiting for the day when people realize this and we get animated adaptations of classic media that would be far superior in animation than live action. (I know R*wling is shit and I'm sad and not hoping for this soon but) Harry Potter would legit be 10x better animated.

I mean education is really important. The issue was the US didn't fund the infrastructure to make schools safe. The US's failure to provide ANY support for its policies is where the blame should be, not trying to get kids back in school.

Very interesting analyses about the virology of

People like to invoke phrases like “men and women are just different” which, to me, only further proves the need for more women writers because they provide different and novel ideas. But what they really want to say is “men are superior”, it just doesn’t sound as good.
And immunological principles. Covid was really bad and the pandemic was really traumatic but I don't think that's enough to justify the anti-science, anti-human, and all around doomer apocalyptic messaging. I hope we'll get past this eventually but I can't say I'm not saddened.

It can be it can also not be. I also don't know why it matters? Gay people fall in love and want to get married. We also can enjoy a liberated sexuality. Straight people can do the same but no one bats an eye on the latter.
