While I wouldn't have put it in these terms, there is truth to this. It's silly to expect a relationship to be exactly symmetrical in every scenario when men and women are not. Men get the gift of high emotional stability and it's dickish to not support your girl with it.
I think one of the reasons I got divorced is that I blamed my wife for things and that led to massive fights
With my new girlfriend, I don't blame her for *anything*. I take full responsibility when anything goes wrong between us and that helps calm her down
