Not in my classroom. Most filters are PC fan devices (whisper quiet). The 2 full-sized CRbox at the back will run on low (maybe 50 dB max between them).

I literally just used mine (they do not aerosolize anything as they are only a fan and Hepa Filter. No one on AC flight said to put them away. I will continue to use them. If told otherwise I will never fly AC again.

We gathered simple PM2.5 measurements from our chamber (natural decay), the Uppatvind Ikea-engineered air filtration device, and some of our home-made CR boxes.

Here is one of the CR boxes in our class. We ensure we always have a door open & many windows open for ⬆️ fresh air circulation. Also, we have CR boxes to help remove viral pathogens from the air arond us (if breathed out and not cleared from air via circulation)

CO2 mini went off in class was yesterday. It was 1200+, so kids who chose not to mask decided to mask up. The detector helps! I spoke with our custodian who did some investigating and sure enough our louvers weren't opening😓 (no fresh air coming in)

Heavy weight behind my eyes, relentless tinnitus, intermittent nerve pain (arms/back), hearing loss, some vision impairment, skin issues, constant dehydration, insomnia, fatigue, tachycardia, HRV (10-18avg). Some symptoms come and go, some have never left😓

My grade 6s seem to be more intelligent than those 'smart' people. They choose to wear N95s or better when they know the indoor air is risky (e.g., hallways, washrooms, school bus).
If one has a cough, they will mask to prevent possible spread-instead of coughing into their arm.
