After a depressing week, it's time to share that I could not get K99! I published 2 papers, 1 submitted to bioRxiv, and included 2 new preliminary data between A0 & A1 submissions (only 6 months). My score was 33 and I know it's not the best. However, they describe my research👇

After all those writing days with tears, sweat and pain, my K99 application is not discussed😭 There are so many challenges on the way and this is one of the hardest one! Its damn hard to stay strong and keep going, but there is no other way!

Academia is hard and is nonstop having an anxiety attacks by thinking that I am not good&competitive enough 😔 I am exhausted but at the same time freaking out not to stay in. Am I the only one who have consistently having these thoughts?
